The Avett Brothers - I And Love And You (2009)
mp3 320kpbs | 112MB | 50:45 min.
| Quote: | Ragged roots heroes commune with bearded guru.
The great divide between the Avett Brothers’ raucous live shows and their records’ restraint continues on the North Carolina quartet’s major-label debut. But I and Love and You still represents a serious change-up. With Rick Rubin producing and all parties bearing down as never before, the album is poppy enough to make Ben Folds jealous -- and not just because there’s more piano than banjo.
No, they’re not hollering so much, and this is as close to perfectly in tune as the Avetts have ever sounded. But more than anything, I and Love and You proves how miscast the Brothers were as folkies, because their ambitions are so much larger. They have always evoked the Band’s Music From Big Pink, but this album’s epic sweep and dramatic lyrical imagery (“There’s a darkness upon me that’s flooded in light”) enlarges that influence to the scale of arena-rock sing-alongs.
In contrast to the prettier sounds, the songs’ lyrics ruminate about obsession and insanity. The overall theme is the crippling desire of being “Ill With Want,” as one song puts it. “Tonight I’ll burn the lyrics,” Seth Avett croons, “’cause every chorus was your name.” You do miss those moments of raucous, redemptive release, the explosion that I and Love and You implies without ever quite delivering.
But that’s what the live show is for. -- http://www.spin.com/reviews/avett-brothers-i-and-love-and-you-americancolumbia |

The Avett Brothers - Emotionalism (2007)
mp3 VBR~256kpbs | 103MB | 58:52 min.
| Quote: | Americana with attitude is the best way to describe the Avett Brothers' music, a sublime blend of folk, country, hillbilly, and blues, swirled through with pop, rock, and a touch of wry punk. In their dreams, it all sounds perfect, but not so much so, they think, when they awake. "Yeah, you deserve the best," they bemoan, not just some "Hand-Me-Down Tune." Well, regrets, we've all had a few, and the Avett Brothers more than some. But if you're going to be filled with "Shame," best to offset your remorse with an incredibly infectious melody. Besides, life is short, and since we're all going to "Die Die Die," we might as well live and love while we can, even if that does just occasionally mean the band must shrug off "All My Mistakes." And love is the paramount emotion of Emotionalism, be it too young (the bouncy "I Would Be Sad"), Spanish-flavored ("Pretty Girl from San Diego"), blues-flecked ("Living of Love"), or exuberant (the British Invasion-styled "Will You Return?"). However, of the many marvelous romantic-themed numbers, the most striking is the romantic tale "The Ballad of Love and Hate," whose opening line, "Love writes a letter and sends it to Hate," immediately grabs your attention. Elsewhere, the band explores other emotions, like the nervousness that infects the otherwise jaunty "Paranoia in B-Flat Major," or the amusing attempts of the band to shrug off the attentions from cities around the country: "Salina" begins in fingerpicking style but ends with evocative classical piano and cello, and "Pretty Girl from San Diego" also shifts tactics from Spanish guitar to a big rock finish. From lullabies to the contrarily rousing singalong party piece "Go to Sleep," the Avett Brothers pick their way through America's folk styles, and deliver them in ways you'd never expect, all wrapped around lyrics, sometimes wry, sometimes dead-serious, but all delivered with the band's signature intensity. A fabulous album from a band that just keeps getting better. -- http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:hpfrxzu5ldke |

The Pine Hill Haints - Ghost Dance (2007)
mp3 192kpbs | 63MB | 45:03 min.
Alternative Country-Rock, Roots Rock, Rockabilly Revival
| Quote: | | Had the Haints (Southern lingo for "ghosts") formed several decades earlier, their hybridized rockabilly tunes might've found a home on the Sun Records roster. Ghost Dance doesn't boast the sexual energy that made the Sun label such a force in early rock & roll, but it still strikes the same down-home sweet spot that inspires audiences to shake their hips and wistfully dream of Dixie life. With a solid, semi-rasped voice, frontman Jamie Barrier leads his bandmates through 20 servings of spooky Southern hospitality, from old reworked blues tunes ("St. Louis Blues") and rhythmic shuffles ("For Every Glass That's Empty") to the lonely banjo-led strains of "Ol' White Thang Blues." For a band so obsessed with prowling ghosts and screaming banshees, the Pine Hill Haints sound remarkably lively as they scrape washboards, bang snare drums, and occasionally max out their cheap microphones. One gets the impression that the bandmates don't fear their spooky subjects as much as view them as part of the South's culture, as integral to the region as bluegrass and soul food. Hauntings and heartache can make strange bedfellows, but the Haints somehow make the combination work, sandwiching songs like "I Never Thought the Day Would Come When You Could Hate Me So Dearly" (a rollicking country-rock number, and perhaps the best track on the disc) in between the supernatural fare. Ghost Dance's song are short and concise, rarely stretching past the two-and-a-half-minute mark, and bridges are abandoned in favor of tight verse/chorus packages. The result is certainly evocative of the South -- of tin-roofed shacks, cotton fields, and haunted crossroads -- but it also suggests an earlier era of rock & roll, one in which the "roll" was prized above most everything else. -- AMG |

Patricia Vonne - Guitars & Castanets (2005)
mp3 VBR~202 kpbs | 60MB | 40:40 min.
| Quote: | | Austin singer-sonwriter Patricia Vonnes self- titled debut stunned with its multi-faceted songs thatblend folk (American,Spanish, and Mexican), rock, country and blues. Her second album is as diversely influenced but streamlined; the previaling sound is a hybrid of cowpunk and paisley underground (think Rank and File vs. the Gun Club)—and ideal foundation for Vonne’s cool, sultry, cinematic songs. She’s a beguiling storyteller and wastes no word or note as she lionizes musical heroes Joe Ely (Joe’s Gone Ridin’) and Johnny Reno (who plays himself on “Sax Maniac”), romanticizes biker gangs (“Lonesome Rider”) and rewires wedding songs (the rip-snorting guitar- driven “ Rebel Bride”. Vonne also honors her Spanish roots, singing—en espanol—of gypsies (“La Gitana de Triana” and “Guitarras y Castanuelas”) and celebrations (“Fiesta Sangria”) over clicking castanets and nylon –string guitar. (These songs could seem out of place or indulgent, but Vonne pulls them off smartly.) In all, this is a fun, immensely satisfying listen—if her debut was flat- out stunning, call this a knockout. |
| Quote: | | Patricia Vonne's sophomore album opens with "Joe's Gone Ridin'," which starts off in a soft mode before each of her bandmates pitches in and takes this train-themed tune into a chugging roots rock pattern inspired by Joe Ely. Singing about being a damsel in distress, she sounds like a revved-up version of an early Rosanne Cash as the chorus keeps things rolling along nicely. Although there is a Tex-Mex hue to some songs, fans of Steve Earle would fall in love with the midtempo, solid, and pretty "Texas Burning," which shows the best of both worlds: Vonne's strong voice and the equally strong musicianship behind her. However, she veers deeply into the sexy yet mellow "La Gitana de Triana," a pure Spanish tune that brings to mind Linda Ronstadt. She returns to this blueprint somewhat on "Fiesta Sangria," although the track ends rather abruptly. When the chorus goes into a pop-tinged mold, it tends to dampen the stronger verses. However, she returns to her strengths with the pleasing "Lonesome Rider," which takes a great melody and rides it from start to finish with her voice soaring throughout. Her unpredictability is a double-edged sword at times, but she fares much better on the Spanish tune "Guitarras y Castanuelas," with its bolero-like feeling. The highlight, though, has to be the lovely and finely crafted "Long Season," which delicately toes the line between country and roots rock. Guitarist Kirk Brewster gives some great licks in the chorus and also in the bridge, resembling the playing of Eric Ambel to some extent. Another SPAMise is the very good "Blood on the Tracks," which comes off like a Rosanne Cash and Rodney Crowell duet. However, "Sax Maniac" is a roadhouse blues tune you'd find on any George Thorogood album. On the whole, it is a very good album with several unique twists and turns. --AMG |

Blaze Foley - Wanted More Dead Than Alive [2006]
mp3 256kpbs | 62MB | 33:34 min.
Biography:
| Quote: | The colorful yet tragic life of Austin singer/songwriter Blaze Foley -- who was shot and killed in 1989, at the age of 39, while trying to defend an elderly friend -- reads like the most heart-piercing of country ballads. It's no wonder then that extraordinary artists like Foley's friend and hero Townes Van Zandt and Lucinda Williams penned odes to him (Van Zandt's "Blaze's Blues" and Williams' "Drunken Angel"). As for Foley's craft, no less than Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard -- songwriter luminaries in their own right -- covered Foley's "If I Could Only Fly" in 1987. (Haggard would go on to re-record the song and make it the title track of his 2000 album.) Unfortunately, it seems that a good deal of Foley's energies went toward the art of living; therefore, while he has left listeners with his vivid legend, his recorded output is frustratingly scarce.
Blaze Foley (born Michael David Fuller) was raised in West Texas and sang with his mother, brother, and sisters in a gospel act called the Fuller Family. Taking a pseudonym borrowed from Red Foley, Blaze performed in Houston, New Orleans, and Austin through the 1970s and '80s, developing a strong following and respect from fellow musicians. But it was the Austin music scene, among friends like Van Zandt and Timbuk 3 -- whose work Foley was an early champion of -- that would become his spiritual and geographical home.
While Foley recorded a now impossible to find studio album in the early '80s at the famed Muscle Shoals studios, he's remembered more for his vivid character. He was known as much for his kindness and philanthropy, even in the face of his own poverty, as he was for his drunkenness, ornery nature, and downright weirdness. Foley was also known for his uncanny fascination with duct tape, which he used to hold the various pieces of his life together, most notably his shoes (as immortalized in the lyrics of Lucinda Williams' aforementioned "Drunken Angel").
Fittingly, his one readily available work, Live at the Austin Outhouse, was recorded on December 18, 1988 (his 39th birthday), at one of the few music establishments in town that would tolerate him. The album was released as a cassette and Foley intended to donate a percentage of the profits to a homeless shelter, but after he was shot and killed on February 1, 1989, sales were instead earmarked for funeral costs. Live at the Austin Outhouse, re-released on CD in 1999 by Lost Art Records, captured him in his element. Through the bleed of a guitar microphone, you can hear stools squeaking, snatches of conversation, and general bar ambience -- but at the center of it all is Foley, his deep gritty voice and songs that, much like Van Zandt's, seem to emerge from a place of bruised, yet hopeful, solitude. -- AMG |

Gurf Morlix - Diamonds to Dust (2007)
mp3 256kpbs | 87MB | 51:38 min.
| Quote: | | Gurf Morlix (born 1951, Buffalo, NY) is an American multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and record producer residing for many years in Austin, Texas. He has worked with many of the best known performers of Americana and alternative country music. His most notable works include albums by Lucinda Williams, Robert Earl Keen, Mary Gauthier, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and Slaid Cleaves. The instruments that he plays include guitar, bass, mandolin, mandocello, dobro, pedal steel, Weissenborn, banjo, harmonica, and drums. Gurf is a member of the Austin Music Awards Hall of Fame (2004) and the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame (2005). -- Wikipedia |
| Quote: | | Gurf Morlix is a guitarist/producer probably best known for his collaborations with Lucinda Williams, although he also has worked with folks like Robert Earl Keen, Ian McLagan, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and Buddy & Julie Miller. The busy Austin-based musician doesn't get a lot of time to do his solo work, with Diamonds to Dust being just his fourth album; however, it is his strongest overall effort. A sense of morality courses through this disc, starting with the powerful prison-cell set opener, "Killin' Time in Texas." On "Madalyn's Bones," he explores the mysterious death of the atheist leader Madalyn Murray O'Hair, while "Food, Water, Shelter & Love" offers his stark take on the Hurricane Katrina tragedy. Death plays a central role, too, in the haunting "Windows Open, Windows Close," which refers to the late Texas songwriter Blaze Foley, as well as in the spare and stirring "Blanket," a tune partially inspired by Warren Zevon's death. "Blanket" is also one of the tunes that features Patty Griffin's harmony singing; her gorgeous soaring voice provides a nice contrast to Morlix's more earthbound vocals. His parched voice, however, does lend an appropriate world-weariness to his cover of Dylan's "With God on Our Side." The title track, a roots rock workout, offers more dark ruminations, but Morlix includes some wry fatalism ("Birth to boneyard/Boon to bust/Everything falls apart when it must"). His dark sense of humor surfaces later in the disc on a delightfully twisted love song, "Worth Dyin' For." Although the disc maintains a dark mood, it isn't pitch black. The simple bluesy "I've Got a Passion" offers a bit of hope through the power of love. The disc closer, "Need You Now," is an even stronger love song, although this heartfelt plea to a missing lover can't be called an uplifting tune. This song, along with the rattling ramshackle blues of "Up Against It," number among the tracks that evoke his times with Lucinda Williams. For someone who is a sought-after guitarist, Morlix never resorts to showboating. He colors "Up Against It" with some roadhouse bluesiness without slipping into meandering soloing. Similarly, his swampy guitar work enhances the noir-ish mystery of "Madalyn's Bones." Somewhat bleak but thoroughly compelling, Diamonds to Dust is a rough-hewn little gem of Americana. -- AMG |

The Knitters - The Modern Sounds of the Knitters (2005)
mp3 VBR~192kpbs | 52MB | 39:36 min.
Biography:
| Quote: | The Knitters was a one-off country side project of the famed Los Angeles punk band X featuring the group's vocalist Exene Cervenka, singer/bassist John Doe, and drummer D.J. Bonebrake as well as the Blasters' guitarist Dave Alvin. (Ironically, when original X guitar player Billy Zoom left the band in 1986, it was Alvin who replaced him, albeit briefly.) The Knitters' lone LP, 1985's Poor Little Critter on the Road, was a collection of originals, covers, and acoustic revampings of earlier X material, redone in a variety of country-based styles running from swing to traditional.
Twenty years later, in 2005, the group released their second and ironically-titled album, The Modern Sounds of the Knitters. John Doe has been quoted as saying "The Knitters, like their music, don't do anything hasty. Since our last record's been out for a while and it did pretty good, we figured it was just about time to put out another." |
| Quote: | It's been 19 years since the Knitters -- a country-tinged offshoot of X with guitarist Dave Alvin and bassist Johnny Ray Bartel in tow -- released Poor Little Critter on the Road. In the meantime, alternative country -- an unfamiliar phrase in 1986 -- has become a recognized genre. The title of the new album, The Modern Sounds of the Knitters, is something of a joke then: first, because there's nothing modern about the Knitters; and second, because alternative country is now a modern sound. The new album lacks the SPAMise of the first, the sheer oddity of a rock band making a country album. Most listeners, then, are going to listen to The Modern Sounds of the Knitters in the context of Wilco or Lucinda Williams or dozens of other performers covered in No Depression. In that context, two things stand out about the Knitters. First, the band has two solid lead singers, John Doe and Exene, whose voices work great together, and secondly, the guitar work by Alvin is always bright and rocking (even though the album is country-tinged). Still, it would be a shame if The Modern Sounds of the Knitters was just filed under country, alternative or otherwise. The band is simply too hip, and its country-rockabilly-folk sound -- modern or otherwise -- is too fresh to be lumped in with yet another No Depression band on the make. Authenticity is a beautiful thing, but unless a group can bring something new to old songs -- as the Knitters do to "Long Chain On" or "Give Me Flowers While I'm Living" -- then why bother? Of course, listening to Doe and Exene's voices intertwine will have listeners breaking out their old X albums. Certain slower songs, like "Little Margaret," are a bit milquetoast, but the Knitters more than make up for it by closing with a killer version of "Born to Be Wild." Perhaps it just takes a group of players less encased in the modern sounds of alternative country to make a lively, buoyant album like The Modern Sounds of the Knitters. -- http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:hbfrxq8sld0e |

Eleni Mandell - Country for True Lovers (2003)
mp3 192kpbs | 58MB | 42:10 min.
Biography:
| Quote: | | Drawing heavy influence from Tom Waits, Los Angeles hipster Eleni Mandell initiated a recording career with art-cool albums packed with her gritty, noir-ish sketches. Mandell, who was a huge fan of L.A. punkers X growing up, was raised in the Sherman Oaks region of the San Fernando Valley, and began performing out during her years as a student at Berkeley. Soon after, she fell under the mentorship of Chuck E. Weiss, the Tom Waits hobnobber (and subject of Rickie Lee Jones' "Chuck E's in Love"). In 1998, she self-financed her first release, Wishbone. The album spurred the Waits comparisons as well as comparisons to P.J. Harvey. Her next two albums, Thrill and Snakebite, continued the mode of torchy cool, but 2003's Country for True Lovers saw a shift in Mandell's muse to classic-country tunes. Inspired by such trad-country classics as Tammy Wynette's Your Good Girl's Gonna Go Bad (1967), Mandell enlisted producer and former X guitarist Tony Gilkyson, whom she had met through Weiss. The effort, recorded in a mere two weeks with a host of L.A.'s top country-rock sessioneers (including former Lone Justice drummer Don Heffington), featured a mix of originals and covers by artists such as Merle Haggard. |
| Quote: | Eleni Mandell takes a different approach with this album, offering up a batch of gin-soaked, traditional honky tonk numbers that bring to mind previous singers like Brenda Lee, Connie Francis, and Patsy Cline. The introductory "Another Lonely Heart" has the singer giving a credible performance that nails each tear-at-your-heartstrings note. Greg Leisz has an important part on the song with a great pedal steel guitar solo, but it's the mix of whispery jazz and country that Mandell excels at. "Don't Say You Care" falls along the same vein, with the slow and mournful melody carrying the song. "Refrain" is another quality performance, as Mandell does her best rendition of a tune screaming to be performed at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. An interesting cover is Merle Haggard's "I've Got a Tender Heart," which has a definitive upbeat swing. "I'll get over you and make a brand new start," she sings behind a stellar cast of supporting musicians. The flow each song has can't be underestimated, giving each a timeless quality. A departure from the country mold is the blues-tinged "It's Raining," a number that seems a bit out of place here. One of the album's high points is the sparse yet cozy Celtic folk feeling on "Kingsport Town," a tune that predominantly resembles Cowboy Junkies. "You're All Bad (And That's Why You've Been Invited!)" is a tad wordy in places, but it has a punchy, bouncy Bonnie Raitt quality that works. "Home" consists of just vocal, acoustic guitar, and pretty backing harmonies that could be mistaken for Alison Krauss, except for the French verse. Overall, it's an album well worthy of its title. -- http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:wpfyxqyaldhe |

VA - Beyond Nashville: The Twisted Heart of Country Music (2001)
mp3 256kpbs | 255 MB | 141:09 min.
| Quote: | The rise of the so-called "No Depression" (named after the Carter Family song) alternative country movement in the 1990s coincided with commercial country's hard left turn into pop/rock territory. Less a reaction to the slick "hat acts" (Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, et al.) than an attempt to keep country's historical line pure and direct, the movement was invaluable in keeping traditional country music in the public consciousness at a time when radio simply wouldn't play it. A wonderful two-disc collection, Beyond Nashville charts the history of country from its varied roots in blues, folk, and gospel (Jimmie Rodgers, Leadbelly, Woody Guthrie) through the golden era of Hank Williams and Lefty Frizzell and the outlaw years of Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash. The rock influx from the late '60s is represented by tracks from the Byrds, the Band, and the Flying Burrito Brothers. The second disc features young disciples like Steve Earle, Gillian Welch, and Lucinda Williams along with more experimental stuff from Sparklehorse, Lambchop, and Jim White, making Beyond Nashville an essential primer for a new/old and extremely vital genre. -- http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:dvfwxq90ldde |

VA - Even Cowgirls Get The Blues (2007)
mp3 VBR~212kpbs | 98MB | 63:09 min.
| Quote: | | This compilation brings together some of contemporary alt. country's biggest female talents, with a line-up that includes Fargo's own Dawn Landes, Jesse Sykes, Emily Loizeau and Alela Diane, as well as talents from third party labels, including Liz Durrett, Laura Gibson and Sub Pop's Sera Cahoone, who opens up the album with the brilliant 'Nowhere To Be Found'. Elsewhere, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy adds a little [ This is SPAM please report ] to the femme-folk tracklist, helping out on Pink Nasty's 'BTK Blues', and The Innocence Mission avoid Eurovision jokes with their beautifully plaintive 'The Brotherhood Of Man'. The lesser known artists come up with the goods too, notably Mariee Sioux, whose 'Wizard Flurry Home' is an expertly fingerpicked showcase for an impressive new voice in modern Americana. |

Langhorne Slim - Be Set Free [2009]
mp3 320kpbs | 82MB | 38:17 min.
Biography:
| Quote: | | Something of a one-man mixture of the Cramps, Beck's early indie records (circa One Foot in the Grave), and the soundtrack to O Brother Where Art Thou, singer and guitarist Langhorne Slim offers a sardonic, modern take on traditional folk, country, and blues. Fancifully dubbed "the bastard son of Hasil Adkins" in some of his early press releases, Langhorne Slim is in fact a Pennsylvania native who resettled in Brooklyn after his graduation from the State University of New York at Purchase. After a self-released demo garnered some local and online attention (as well as a semi-regular gig as the opening act for indie novelty outfit the Trachtenberg Family Slideshow Players), Langhorne Slim signed with the indie label Narnack Records and released his first EP, Electric Love Letter, in March 2004. The more varied and band-oriented full-length When the Sun's Gone Down followed in the spring of 2005. Much touring ensued over the next year, including support dates with Lucero and Murder by Death, with drummer Malachi DeLorenzo and upright bassist Paul DeFiglia (aka "the War Eagles") in tow. In 2006, Langhorne Slim signed with the larger (though still not major) label V2 Records, which released the all-new EP Engine in September of that year, as the singer was finishing recording his second full album, produced by Josh Ritter's keyboardist, Sam Kassirer. The deal fell through, however, and the band was left labelless. Langhorne Slim found a new home on Kemado Records, who released the self-titled album in the spring of 2008. |
| Quote: | One of the most endearing and standout qualities of Slim's live shows is the sureness that one is always entering a genuine gospel-like musical experience full of little miracles. Be Set Free has captured this charisma and spirit -the "hold your heart" moments and "raise a drink" dance vibes shine throughout with lush string arrangements and the fine sonic talents of drummer Malachi DeLorenzo and new bassist Jeff Ratner. Langhorne's stronger than ever vocals lead the journey blending his poetry through the beautiful chaos and bearing a wisdom that reflects a broken heart battling the perils of true hope.
Be Set Free is Langhorne's most cinematic and cohesive effort to date. Slim has truly reached a point of light where these songs come from wide-eyed maturity and mastered craft.
Gut wrenching lyrics and gorgeous merry melodies-it would be easy to categorize it as folk, but this time-it's much more complex than just that slice of pie. Sweet hallelujah choruses bleed throughout tracks like "Land Of Dreams" and "Say Yes" and turn to the darkness of blues filled "I Love You, But Goodbye". |
1. Back To The Wild 2:20
2. Say Yes 3:05
3. I Love You, But Goodbye 3:06
4. Land of Dreams 3:10
5. Cinderella 2:48
6. Be Set Free 2:38
7. For A Little While 3:21
8. Sunday By The Sea 2:32
9. Leaving My Love 3:38
10. Yer Wrong 2:40
11. Blown Your Mind 2:10
12. So Glad I'm Coming Home 3:17
13. Boots Boy

The Waybacks - Loaded (2008)
mp3 192kpbs | 78MB | 55:02 min.
| Quote: | | Steeped in Americana, West Coast outfit the Waybacks are able to meld Appalachian or mountain music with a summery "jam band" feeling for most of this record. Whether it is the somewhat catchy "City Boy," with its somewhat odd bridge, or the mellow "Nice to Be Alone," the group is content to let the melodies do most of the work. But sometimes the laid-back Jack Johnson-ish melodies don't quite measure up, especially on the winding and somewhat meandering "The River," which has some fleeting quality moments. Thankfully, things get back on track with the leaner pop-country of "Good Enough," bringing Jimmy Buffett or Dire Straits to mind. Meanwhile, the group seems to shine during the tranquil, placid "Savannah" with its swinging Django-like hue, and the honky tonk effort "Tired of Being Right." Probably the dark horse or sleeper on this folk-pop album is the swaying waltz-like Celtic-leaning number "Beyond the Northwest Passage," in the vein of the Pogues or Flogging Molly. Following the cinematic violin introduction of "Black Cat," the Waybacks move into a klezmer-meets-bluegrass feel with interesting results. - AMG |
