Dalida (January 17, 1933 – May 3, 1987) was an Egyptian born singer of Italian origin who lived most of her life in France. She received 55 gold records and was the first singer to receive a diamond disc.
Despite enormous career success, Dalida’s private life was marred by a series of failed relationships and personal problems. Mario Lanza (January 31, 1921 – October 7, 1959) was an American tenor and Hollywood movie star who enjoyed success in the late 1940s and 1950s.
His lirico spinto tenor voice was considered by his supporters to rival that of Enrico Caruso, whom Lanza portrayed in the 1951 film The Great Caruso, although compared to Caruso, his operatic career was negligible. Lanza sang a wide variety of music throughout his career, ranging from operatic arias to the popular songs of the day. While his highly emotional style was not universally praised by critics, he was immensely popular and his many recordings are still prized today. He died of pulmonary embolism aged only 38. In May 2008 he has published his debut album "Canzoni Da Spiaggia Deturpata" (Songs from Defaced Beach), produced by George Canali. The disk has received a good comparison of public and criticism, also winning the Plate Tenco 2008 as First Good Work of the year.

"CCCP Fedeli alla Linea" (1982-1990) were an Italian band formed in 1982 in Berlin by vocalist Giovanni Lindo Ferretti and guitarist Massimo Zamboni. The band's style was self-defined by the members themselves as “Musica Melodica Emiliana - Punk Filosovietico” (“Melodic Music of Emilia-Romagna - pro-Soviet punk”).
Their name, CCCP, is the acronym for SSSR, (Russian: Союз Советских Социалистических Республик; transliterated Sojuz Sovetskich Socialističeskich Respublik); (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, abbreviated USSR).

Irene Grandi was born in Florence.
She debuted in the Sanremo Music Festival in the category New Proposed with "Fuori", in 1994.
Her first album, Irene Grandi, contained songs written with Eros Ramazzotti ("Sposati subito") and Jovanotti ("T.V.B."). In 1995, her second album, In vacanza da una vita, was released. It contained such songs as "In vacanza da una vita" and "Bum bum". These albums were followed up by Se mi vuoi, Per fare l'amore, Buon compleanno, and Prima di partire per un lungo viaggio.
In 2000, she placed second in the Sanremo Music Festival with a song written together with Vasco Rossi.
She performed lead vocals on the song "Blue", the closing track on French producer Hector Zazou's 2003 album Strong Currents.
