It's probably a way of opening a RAR-packed file without having an unpackprogram like winrar or winzip.
But sure it's tricky, unknown exe-files are equal to alarms for most pc-users! |

| I would think that before you people start casting dispersions and making implications regarding something as serious as viruses, you might have a look at the number of posts that this individual has and the fact that he has earned the "Super-User" icon. I have downloaded hundreds of DnDHornsNHalos cds and they are all fine quality shares, and nary a v irus among them. I do understand that the .exe extension raises a red flag and has been known to disguise a v irus, but perhaps you should open your eyes and look at the whole picture before you start flaming. Shame on you. Thank you DnD for all of your fine posts. You generously take the time to share music with the Zona family and what do you get for your trouble? A bunch of accusations. They should be ashamed of themselves! Rock on DnD! |
